What I Offer

I have described below the services I offer, based on my experience of what is usually helpful. I will always try my best to be flexible so if you need something that doesn't seem to fit, please contact me.

I provide an initial free discussion either in-person (within 20 miles radius of Elgin), by telephone or online. I would ask you about your current situation, what matters to you and what you currently have in place. The purpose of this discussion is for me to discern what assistance I can offer to you and those close to you, and for you to consider whether this is of interest to you.

Ongoing Guidance

Monthly check in of 2 hours ( in-person, telephone or online) with up to 1 hour support in between as needed.

If it is not possible for you to pay these rates then please do contact me. I can help you to find other ways to get the support you need. For example, social services can often part-fund. Attendance allowance can also help.

What I Offer: Skills

Kate helped me to have the diffficult conversation with my Mum about my Dad being ready to die and needing to let him go.We felt we were positively approachingt he end of his life in a way that had meaning for Dad and us. We had a plan that involved brightening his room with rich colours and textures, essential oils, at times the stillness of silence and other times soft music.

When my Mum was in her final weeks, Kate gave me the information, guidance and, importantly, confidence to be calm and assertive to ensure Mum's wishes were respected.

Kate has a professional calmness and a passion for getting it right for everyone. Her personal qualities, her understanding and knowledge of the dying process and her loving heart contribute to making her the woman you want to have supporting you.
